Definitions and Eligibility

"Residential property" means premises that are used or intended for occupation principally as a place of residence, but does not include premises that constitute any part of premise described in section 5(c) to (k) of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 (i.e. jails, hospitals, hostels, hotels, and other places providing temporary accommodation). For Counties Energy Network customers, a residential property is further defined as having a fuse capacity of up to and including 63 amps, are metered and have a connection voltage of up to 400V.

To be eligible for the Feeder MAX (low user) pricing options, the customer's residential property must be the customer’s principle place of residence (this excludes holiday homes and buildings that are ancillary to a customer’s principle place of residence). The Feeder MAX pricing plan shall apply to all other residential properties.
